The summer season would not be officially launched at Ferme Marineau without the opening of our farmer’s markets. With one located on Boulevard Dagenais and the other on Boulevard Samson in Laval, they’re THE place to go for freshness and authenticity. On Samson, you’ll find mainly fresh fruits and vegetables as well as marinades and homemade jams. The farm stand on Dagenais offers a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, more products prepared by our team from our harvests, Marineau beer and a range of local foods. Our products vary along with the seasons. All the berries—strawberries, raspberries and blueberries—are grown on site, as are most of our vegetables, including our famous corn. You can buy them at the stands but the strawberries, blueberries and pumpkins are also available for U-pick. Plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables
By buying your fruits and vegetables at our farm stand, you cut out the middleman and get maximum freshness. Ferme Marineau grows its produce in its greenhouses and fields. The arrival of strawberries in June sets the stage for crops of cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, radishes, lettuce, onions and herbs, followed by other crops over the months. Part of what we grow is used to supply our artisanal ice cream stand and our kitchen for the preparation of our homemade products. While we sell a wide selection of fruits and vegetables, our strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, corn (non-GMO) and now pumpkins remain the flagship products that have helped build our reputation. Our techniques, our know-how and the cultivars we choose allow us to produce corn early in the season. It’s crisp, sweet, delicious and freshly picked every morning. As for berries, U-pick strawberries and blueberries attract many visitors, but of course we also sell them freshly picked throughout the whole season. Due to their fragility, raspberries are offered only at the stands, while pumpkins are also available for U-pick.
Our prepared products
Almost all prepared products available at our fruit and vegetable stands are cooked at our facilities. Since we use our own crops, we showcase them with simple recipes passed down from generation to generation. So whether you choose a strawberry jam, a marinade, a berry pie or any other product, you’ll be sure to really taste the vegetable or fruit that made you want it. At Ferme Marineau, we emphasize the right ingredients!
Prepared products at the Boulevard Dagenais farm stand
With the large space and fridges available at our Boulevard Dagenais farmer’s market, we’re able to offer a wider variety of prepared products. You’ll find the following:
- Baked goods, such as cold pizzas, gourmet breads, pies, doughnuts and cookies
- Marinades
- Jams
- Honey (including that produced by bees that pollinate in our fields)
- Homemade raspberry and strawberry beer
- Other local products

Since there’s no electricity at this stand, we can only keep a few prepared products here. At certain times during the season, you’ll also find baked goods.

Marineau raspberry and strawberry beers
Our two Marineau beers, La Fraisière (strawberries and honeyberries) and La Framboisière (raspberries) are the product of a collaboration between Ferme Marineau and Domaine Brune Houblonde. Made with our berries, Laval hops, and Québec barley and wheat, these are very refreshing Berlin whites (Berlin style beer) that you’ll be able to enjoy throughout the summer.
