Sunflower maze

Closed for the season

A truly enchanted sunflower maze!

Creating a sunflower maze was a somewhat crazy idea that had been brewing in our minds for a long time, and it finally came true in July 2022. Our goal? To offer you a fun and bright course through a 200,000-square-foot field (about 10 football fields).

Based on the plans we had drawn up, the whole Marineau family worked hard to create the paths and when we saw the result from the air, we were awed! You can enjoy this adventure at your own pace and take the opportunity to snap beautiful photos. When the sunflower fields turn multicoloured hues later in the season, you can enjoy the best of both worlds and leave with a beautiful bouquet AND photos.

Note that sunflower picking and the maze are not necessarily ready at the same time. The walk through the maze is offered exclusively during the day on Thursdays and Sundays; on Friday and Saturday, you can also do it in the evening and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Always, when you take part in activities at Ferme Marineau, you can bring a picnic. A few areas are available for this purpose. Don’t hesitate to stock up on snacks at our farm stand and don’t forget to leave room for a frozen treat at our artisanal ice cream stand.

Where do I go when i arrive to explore the sunflower maze?

When you arrive, head to the canopy to pay your entrance fee. Before you make your way to the maze, we’ve set up some games to make your visit even more enjoyable. You can have fun with our giant bean bag toss and tic-tac-toe games, our tug-of-war, Flower Power or our handcrafted swings. It’s guaranteed fun!

How much does it cost?

Rates vary depending on when you choose to participate in this activity. Debit and credit cards, as well as cash are accepted. The end time indicated in the schedule is the time by which you have to have left the maze. You’ll then have approximately one hour to get to the park at the entrance.

Where is the maze, how do I get there and what should I bring?

To get to the maze, you will have to walk about 300 meters, from the marquee, on a gravel and dirt path. In the maze, there is only beaten-earth; it is a good idea to bring adequate shoes and a pushchair with large wheels if you have young children with you! We also have some carts in limited quantities. When the weather is warmer, remember to bring water to stay well hydrated.

Can I bring my pet?

No animal is allowed on site.

If it's raining, do the activities take place?

When it’s raining it’s always best to check our social media (Facebook, Instagram) or to contact us to make sure it’s open and that the fields are walkable.
